Find a Crane Training Provider

There are hundreds of crane training providers located throughout the US; however, as with all things, each should be evaluated closely and compared to other providers before using them for training services.

CCO EDU launched the ATP program in 2024 to demonstrate evaluation and identification of high-quality training providers. The training providers listed as Accredited Training Providers (ATPs) by CCO EDU have gone through a rigorous accreditation process who met a 40+ point Accredited Training Provider Standard that included submitting hundreds of pages of documentation demonstrating that the standard was met. CCO EDU thoroughly audited the training providers listed and conducted interviews to verify the information.

Check with training providers to determine details such as location, costs, and availability.

The International Union of Operating Engineers (IUOE) is a trade union that primarily represents operating engineers, who work as heavy equipment operators, mechanics, and surveyors in the construction industry, and stationary engineers, who work in operations and maintenance in building and industrial complexes and in the service industries. Local IUOE union halls provide access to paid on-the-job training through apprenticeships in the crane industry. Access to crane apprenticeships depend on location and availability.
